Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group in Miami, FL seeks a Director, Strategic Joint Ventures & Partnerships to lead a portfolio of strategic investments across end-to-end lifecycle, partnering with Corporate Development, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

You will underwrite new investments, govern portfolio performance, and drive value creation with JV CEOs and management teams, bringing deep investment judgment and executive presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in investment, corporate development, private equity, or related fields.
• Experience with joint ventures, portfolio companies, and strategic partnerships is preferred; ability to shape, negotiate, and implement deals.
• Strong business judgment and executive presence; ability to communicate with C-suite, boards, and JV partners efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic JV portfolio across the end-to-end investment lifecycle, including underwriting, governance, portfolio management, value creation and exit readiness.
• Establish governance processes across the portfolio, including board prep and performance reviews.
• Partner with JV CEOs and management to develop value creation plans and monitor performance against objectives.
• Lead and develop a team of investment and value creation professionals dedicated to the portfolio.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to share best practices and support integration and Day 1 readiness for new investments.
• Develop executive-ready materials and recommendations for senior governance forums and committees.
• Ensure controls, confidentiality, and sound judgment across financial, contractual, and governance matters.
