Job summary

AHEAD seeks a Director, Financial Solutions to lead strategic financing and drive commercial outcomes across a geographic sales territory. You will structure financing solutions, analyze total cost of ownership, and communicate complex financial concepts to clients and internal teams.

You will partner with sales, accounts receivable, and finance to optimize cash flow, manage risk, and close high-value software transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial selling.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, finance, accounts receivable, manufacturers, and clients.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into practical business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Attend quarterly business review (QBR) meetings at the request of sales leadership.
• Lead financial selling for product opportunities with TCO analysis.
• Respond to financing requests with strategic solutions tailored to the opportunity.
• Provide tax and freight billing instructions for financed opportunities and complete final booking checklists.
• Resolve terms mismatches using internal criteria and financing considerations.
• Manage the unfunded report to minimize DSO for financed receivables.
• Maximize cash advantage by pursuing financing for large software transactions.
• Help manage credit limits with select suppliers during peak periods.
• Support Accounts Receivable with collection of problem cash accounts; introduce financing as a more efficient collection solution.
• Model and present Dell TLA opportunities to position AHEAD with clients.
• Build trusted relationships with sales teams and business partners as a financing SME.
