Exelon in Chicago seeks a senior policy liaison to lead state legislative initiatives, coordinate cross-functional positions, and manage interactions with lawmakers and agencies. This role drives advocacy, analyzes regulatory issues, and supports philanthropic activities across the company.

Preferred applicants will have a law/communications/business advanced degree and extensive experience in utility regulation, with the ability to lead teams and coordinate complex projects.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 12 or more years' experience in state, local or federal legislative arena.
• In lieu of degree, 15-20 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated communication skills: ability to analyze, interpret and present data.
• Broad knowledge of utility operations, economics, regulatory and legislative processes and energy trends.
• Ability to lead teams and organize long-term projects and assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and create value.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate company position on all state legislative initiatives to advance objectives.
• Travel to Springfield to interface with legislators and agencies.
• Coordinate efforts between legislative team and subject matter experts on positions.
• Lead communications with policymakers and lobbyists.
• Coordinate philanthropic and political events and fundraising.
• Support PAC strategy and represent ComEd at events.
• Prepare and distribute reports on legislative activities and initiatives.
