Job summary

Edmentum, a remote-first educator-focused company, seeks a Senior State Programs Leader to own multi-state adoption strategies and submissions. You will guide policy insights for executive teams and collaborate with Product, Sales, Legal, Marketing, and state education departments to align programs with product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 10+ years in K-12 education technology, curriculum publishing, or state policy.
• At least 8 years managing state adoptions, approvals, or government relations.
• Experience with HQIM, Quality Matters or similar rubrics.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 standards, instructional design, and curriculum evaluation.
• Proven ability to lead multi-state submissions and engage with policy environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership, with cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive state adoption and approval strategy across multiyear pipelines.
• Provide strategic insights shaping product investment and market position.
• Build partnerships across Product, Sales, Legal, Marketing, and education departments.
• Design scalable operational systems and workflows for the state programs team.
• Lead and grow a team of state program specialists.
• Turn adoption data into actionable intelligence for product enhancements.
