Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Medicaid, healthcare administration, health insurance, or related public-sector programs.
• Extensive experience leading complex healthcare programs such as benefits, pharmacy, or transportation operations.
• Experience working with managed care organizations, providers, or government health programs.
• Experience developing and implementing policies, contracts, or operational strategies.
• Experience with systems and software, including Microsoft Suites.
• Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare laws, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic direction and operational oversight for specialized Medicaid programs within DMAS.
• Ensure programs are administered effectively, efficiently, and compliant with federal/state requirements.
• Collaborate with divisions like Cardinal Care, Health Analytics, Finance, and Procurement to integrate services.
• Establish a unified operating framework with accountability and strong program administration.
• Engage with executive leadership and external stakeholders to align incentives and outcomes.
• Provide in-person trainings/meetings and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Supervise large multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
