Job summary

Visit Hot Springs is seeking a seasoned events manager to lead conception, planning, coordination, management, and execution of special events at the Hot Springs Convention Center and Bank OZK Arena.

You will collaborate with clients, sponsors, vendors, and community partners, develop timelines, budgets, and floor plans, and ensure events meet objectives from booking through post-event follow-up. Some travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in event planning, management, or related hospitality fields.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to work with diverse partners and tight timelines.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, coordinate, and execute special events.
• Direct vendors, sponsors, and partners before and during events.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned events and manage client objectives.
• Develop event timelines, floor plans, and logistics.
