Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in engineering, science or a related technical field plus 13+ years of program administration experience.
• Experience managing electronics development programs and IRAD projects.
• Experience with space programs, satellite missions, or other space mission environments is required.
• Emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics.
• Results-oriented with focus on program success and long-term goals.
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates application of program management principles and leadership skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, presentation and interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Program Management: Support medium-to-large programs from initiation through completion on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with executives, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product, engineering, procurement, security, marketing and operations.
• Subcontractor Management: Generate SOWs and POs reflecting scope and PMO interface with Subcontract Management.
• Risk Management: Proactively address risks, track dependencies and changes.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed plans and allocate resources to meet milestones.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets and expenditures while ensuring quality.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide updates to senior management and teams; prepare reports and presentations.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within PMO for efficiency and success.
• Technical Leadership: Maintain excellence in planning, talent development and program execution.
• Identify risks and lead solutions.
