Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in engineering or related field and 13+ years of experience.
Strong leadership, project management and communication skills.
Ability to resolve complex engineering problems and manage schedules.
Active DoD security clearance; TS/SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

Directs all phases of engineering projects from inception to completion.
Develops and implements long-term technical, schedule and budget objectives for the space systems team.
Leads system-level design of space systems and satellites across project phases.
Collaborates with staff, program managers and executives on goals and metrics.
Prepares technical responses to bids and proposals.
Oversees confidentiality and security of proprietary technology.
