Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Lincoln, NE seeks a Director of Space and Occupancy Planning to oversee occupancy planning for a regional portfolio. You will generate space layouts and relocation options, coordinate with Move Managers and Project Managers, and ensure data accuracy for space management systems.

The role requires 7–10 years in corporate real estate planning, a BA/BS, and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and IWMS (Serraview/Archibus/iOffice).

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience in corporate space planning or CRE functions.
• Experience reviewing architectural/engineering drawings and site occupancy plans.
• Development of site occupancy plans for short/long term scenarios including supply and demand analysis.
• Ability to build relationships across internal teams and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all facility space and personnel move requests within the territory to maximize space efficiency.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with client lines of business to understand requirements.
• Makes recommendations to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and asset utilization.
• Collaborates with Strategy, Project Management, Facility Management and CRE team members.
• Develops migration plans and sequencing for group relocations with Move Managers.
• Ensures space data reflects current occupancy and is updated from site audits and partners.
• Organizes data formats for planning and handoff, including PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and written solutions.
