Job summary

SEAKR Engineering seeks a Director of Business Development to lead a high-performing BD team. You will shape strategy, pursue high-win-probability opportunities, and engage executives on future product and space program needs.

The role requires extensive aerospace BD experience, strong negotiations, and the ability to travel 30%–50% while aligning business goals with company strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a focus in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management, PM, or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of technical business development experience in aerospace/space markets.
• Proven leadership in managing multiple BD opportunities and teams.
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and meet company objectives.
• Drive revenue targets through market opportunity evaluation, value proposition, and pricing strategy.
• Establish and maintain relationships with government, defense contractors, and commercial aerospace customers.
• Lead, coach, and develop the BD team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and product teams on bid/no-bid decisions and capture activities.
