Job summary

Western Digital is seeking a strategic Director of Business Systems to lead Sourcing, Procurement and Spend Analytics in a remote, US-wide capacity. You will shape the end-to-end Source-to-Pay ecosystem, drive cost optimization, and deliver data-driven improvements across the procurement organization.

You will partner with executive leadership to advance system capabilities, transform processes, and deliver measurable business impact through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related business operations.
• 5+ years in a director-level or senior management role leading cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Source-to-Pay systems, including implementation and optimization.
• Experience in Process optimizations using Agentic AI preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in spend analytics, data analysis, and BI tools.
• Expertise in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion cloud).
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Proven ability to identify and drive cost optimization and savings initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategy, implementation, and optimization of Source-to-Pay systems and processes.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business systems analysts and procurement professionals.
• Develop and execute spend analytics programs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee the integration and management of procurement technology platforms.
• Design and implement process improvements across sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and IT to align procurement systems.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor procurement metrics and spend trends.
• Lead vendor management initiatives, including contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
• Champion digital transformation and automation in procurement workflows.
• Provide executive-level reporting on procurement performance and strategic recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
