Job summary

Western Digital seeks a strategic Director of Business Systems to lead Source-to-Pay across the U.S. You will drive end‑to‑end procurement platforms, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives that elevate cost controls and system performance.

You will mentor a diverse team of procurement and analytics professionals, partnering with Finance, IT, and Supply Chain to deliver measurable business impact through data‑driven insights and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• 5+ years in director or senior management with cross‑functional teams.
• 5+ years hands‑on experience with Source‑to‑Pay systems including implementation and optimization.
• Experience in process optimizations using Agentic AI preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in spend analytics, data analysis, and BI tools.
• Expertise in ERP systems, Oracle Fusion Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Direct the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Source‑to‑Pay systems and processes.
• Lead and mentor a high‑performing team of analysts and procurement professionals.
• Develop and execute spend analytics programs to identify savings and supplier insights.
• Oversee integration and management of procurement tech platforms and analytics solutions.
• Design improvements across sourcing, procurement, and vendor management to reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, IT to align procurement systems with business goals.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor spend trends and system performance.
• Lead vendor management including negotiations and performance assessments.
• Champion digital transformation and automation in procurement workflows.
• Provide executive reporting on performance, savings, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and internal controls.
