Job summary

TeleTracking is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to provide leadership for strategic software products and platforms that advance our mission to improve access to care and optimize healthcare operations.

You will oversee technical strategy, resource management, and roadmap execution while collaborating with Product Management, Architecture, and Executive Leadership to ensure measurable customer and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
• Experience leading software engineering teams delivering enterprise-scale software applications and platforms.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and modern software development practices.
• Experience operating software in cloud-based production environments with reliability, scalability, observability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers through coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development planning.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and engineering decision-making.
• Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to define roadmaps, prioritize investments, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Establish engineering standards, development practices, and operational processes for scalability, maintainability, security, and reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on engineering effectiveness, software quality, and delivery predictability.
• Develop and maintain key engineering, delivery, reliability, and operational metrics.
