Job summary

Henderson James LLC seeks a Development Director to own and drive large-scale power and data center projects from mid-stage development through pre-construction and handoff to construction.

You will lead gas supply strategies, permitting, land transactions, and budget management on projects often spanning several hundred MW, with involvement in project finance diligence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project development experience.
• 3-5 years on large power or data center projects of several hundred MW or more.
• Track record taking projects through permitting, interconnection and land closing.
• Experience with gas-fired generation, combined cycle (CCGT), simple cycle, data center power or large-scale renewables and storage.
• Exposure to project finance and lender or investor diligence.

Development Director - Large-Scale Power & Data Center Projects | $190K-$250K + 20-30% Bonus

Henderson James is retained by a leading independent power developer to hire a Development Director. You'll own a project or region end to end, taking large-scale power and data center infrastructure projects from mid-stage development through pre-construction and handoff to construction. This is a senior, high-visibility role on projects of several hundred megawatts and above, at a time when demand for firm power is at record levels.
