The client is seeking a Director of Corporate Development to build and drive a national pipeline of hyperscale data center, powered-land, and infrastructure opportunities. This role emphasizes proactive origination and dealmaking, requiring an ability to identify opportunities early, cultivate market relationships, and convert initial conversations into major infrastructure investments. The director will operate at the intersection of data centers, power, land, infrastructure, and capital to create growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities include pursuing greenfield development, forming strategic partnerships and joint ventures, evaluating and executing project acquisitions, and supporting M&A and creative deal structures. The role will involve advancing complex opportunities from first conversation through investment approval and execution, with judgment around how power availability, interconnection, land positioning, and development readiness affect data center viability.

The client is looking for a commercially aggressive, strategically sharp, and financially astute leader with deep experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, power, or large-scale energy development. The ideal candidate will know how to originate opportunities through relationships, open doors with developers, infrastructure companies, landowners, utilities, and capital partners, and evaluate and structure deals that can move forward to approval and execution.
