Atmosera, a premier Microsoft Azure partner, seeks a Director of Security Operations to lead our 24x7x365 SOC and MXDR practice. This executive role drives security delivery, operational excellence, client satisfaction, service scalability, and business growth across a portfolio of clients.

You will build repeatable processes, develop high-performing teams, advance automation and AI adoption, and ensure every decision aligns with Atmosera's strategy and objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cybersecurity.
• 5+ years leading enterprise Security Operations or Managed Security Services.
• Operational Excellence — demonstrated ability to run repeatable processes with strong attention to detail and a bias toward documentation.
• Communication — translate complex topics into clear updates for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Collaboration — comfortable working across remote, cross-functional teams.
• Problem Solving — uses data and customer signals to identify root causes and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of Atmosera's 24x7x365 SOC.
• Continuously improve the maturity, scalability, and consistency of security operations.
• Own operational delivery of Atmosera's MXDR services.
• Serve as the executive operational leader for client-facing security operations.
• Provide technical leadership across Microsoft's security ecosystem including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Office 365Entra ID Protection, Purview, Security Copilot.
• Lead operational readiness for incident response.
• Align Security Operations with Atmosera's Strategic Security Program and frameworks such as NIST CSF, MCSB, ISO 27-1, Mitre Attack.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing security professionals.
• Understand the financial drivers of managed security services.
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs including SLA/SLO attainment, MTTD, MTTR, analyst utilization, automation adoption, client satisfaction, and service profitability.
