Job summary

Hopkinton Public School District is seeking a Director of Facilities to lead maintenance, capital planning, custodial services, and construction across all district buildings and grounds.

The role includes managing budgets, advancing energy efficiency, and guiding a diverse team of staff while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and high standards of workmanship. Immediate start with salary range $130,000-$150,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Construction, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of building maintenance methods, materials, and equipment.
• Experience with BMS and maintenance scheduling software.
• Knowledge of Massachusetts procurement laws and licenses to oversee facilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and budget for operation and maintenance across all facilities.
• Collaborate with District and Town leadership on capital projects.
• Develop and advocate for the 10-year capital plan with input from principals and stakeholders.
• Inspect district facilities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and high workmanship standards.
• Lead and evaluate custodial and maintenance staff and report on status.
