Job summary

MyFundedFutures in Plano, TX seeks a senior tax leader to own SALT and international indirect tax across the entity group. You will manage nexus determinations, state filings, and oversee 1099 and transfer pricing coordination with finance and outside advisors.

The role partners with legal and executive leadership on tax planning, disclosures, and regulatory changes, building scalable tax processes and ensuring accurate tax provisions while guiding expansion into new states and markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of tax experience in SALT and international indirect tax.
• Strong background in multistate nexus, apportionment, and sales and use tax.
• Experience with multi-entity structures and provision work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SALT strategy and filings across entity group; own sales tax and GRT filings.
• Lead nexus remediation and VDAs to address historical exposure.
• Own international indirect tax including GRT/VAT and treaty positions.
• Oversee income tax provisions, estimates, and forecasts with third-party firm.
• Manage 1099 filings and coordination with 1099 platform.
• Coordinate transfer pricing and intercompany documentation.
• Manage tax notices, audits, and examinations across jurisdictions.
• Partner with legal/exec leadership on business decisions and cash management.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess implications for business.
• Support tax planning for new entities/products and expansion.
