Zusammenfassung

Weaver seeks a SALT Senior Manager to lead the Sales & Use Tax division within our national accounting, advisory and consulting practice. You will oversee multiple tax engagements, deliver innovative planning ideas, and mentor Associates, Senior Associates and Managers in tax technical and client-facing skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting, CPA/CMI/JD, and 7+ years in state and local tax with a focus on indirect tax. Master’s is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA, CMI or JD is required.
• 7+ years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax.
• Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff and managers.

• Lead delivery of complex sales and use tax engagements across clients.
• Provide written communications on key tax issues and changes to firm and clients.
• Develop Associates, Senior Associates and Managers in tax technical and client-facing skills.
• Mentor and develop staff and managers to build a strong SALT practice.
• Lead business development to attract/serve new clients and expand services.
