Job summary

My Funded Futures is seeking a Director of Tax to own day-to-day tax operations across our multi-entity structure, covering SALT, international indirect tax, and income tax compliance. You will work with external advisors to ensure accuracy and timeliness while scaling tax processes for rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of tax experience in SALT and international indirect tax.
• Strong background in multistate nexus, apportionment, and sales & use tax.
• Experience with multi-entity structures (partnerships and corporations).
• Ability to build or improve tax processes in a lean, fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with outside advisors on shared scope.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SALT strategy across the entity group and filings.
• Lead nexus remediation and VDAs where needed.
• Own international indirect tax obligations (GRT/VAT).
• Oversee income tax provisions, estimates, and forecasts with a third-party firm.
• Manage 1099 filings and vendor/contractor reporting.
• Coordinate transfer pricing and intercompany documentation.
• Manage tax notices, audits, and examinations.
• Partner with legal/leadership on tax impacts and cash management.
• Monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions and assess impact.
• Model tax planning for new entities/products/markets.
• Communicate tax risks and positions to senior leadership.
