Job summary

Thorne in Summerville, SC seeks a Director, Business Planning to lead the Sales & Operations Planning for the supply chain, coordinating demand, supply and executive S&OP processes to meet production and financial goals.

You will work with Production Planning, Master Scheduler, procurement, and QA to optimize production schedules, inventory levels, and service delivery while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of manufacturing experience are required; an MBA is preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to use Thorne’s computer systems.
• Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Leads and continuously improves the Sales & Operations Planning for Supply Chain.
• Responsible for Demand Consensus, Supply Consensus, New Product Development Consensus, and Executive S&OP roll-up monthly.
• Translates latest demand requirements by SKU into supply chain requirements for production planning, scheduling, distribution, and operations.
