Job summary

ForceBrands in Asheville, NC seeks a Director of Operations to own end-to-end supply chain from manufacturing through customer delivery. You will lead production planning, S&OP, warehousing, logistics, and order-to-cash, partnering with procurement and FSQA.

This onsite role requires hands-on leadership across ERP/MRP, 3PLs, and cross-functional teams, with approx. 25% travel to support retail, distributors, and ecommerce channels. Strong focus on continuous improvement and cost-to-serve.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in operations and supply chain leadership in food/CPG.
• Direct accountability for owned or outsourced manufacturing with focus on cost, throughput, and continuous improvement.
• Strong experience with S&OP, production planning, inventory management, and service tradeoffs.
• Ownership of warehousing, transportation, 3PLs, distribution and customer fulfillment.
• Experience across multi-channel fulfillment (retail, distributors, eCommerce, marketplaces).
• Experience leading managers and cross-functional teams in a growth environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, FDA/FSMA, traceability and customer compliance.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP, WMS, EDI, customer portals, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing performance at the owned site and external co-manufacturers across safety, quality, throughput, yield, downtime, capacity, and cost.
• Own production planning, scheduling, and material readiness for make-to-stock/Make-to-order.
• Lead S&OP process linking demand, supply, capacity, inventory, procurement, and finance.
• Drive continuous improvement and accountability across production, maintenance, and warehouse teams.
• Oversee readiness for new products and packaging changes with FSQA and cross-functional partners.
• Own order-to-cash execution from receipt to invoicing and issue resolution.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, 3PLs, and fulfillment performance.
• Build scalable processes across ERP, MRP, WMS, EDI, and customer portals.
