Job summary

Florida State University’s College of Medicine is seeking a Director, Rural Health Data, Southwest Region to lead data management, governance, and performance measurement for the Rural Health Transformation Program.

The role requires collaboration with partners across rural Florida, extensive data analytics, dashboards, and regular travel within the state; hybrid work arrangements in the Southwest region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and six years of experience related to technical services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to ten years. (Note: post-high school education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
• Reliable transportation, and a valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License or the ability to obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management and performance systems: Plan, implement, and continuously improve data management, governance, integration, reporting, and performance measurement systems supporting the Rural Health Transformation Program.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance: Oversee data collection, validation, quality assurance, and reporting across healthcare, community, public health, and state partners. Ensure compliance with data governance standards, HIPAA, data use agreements, and state and federal reporting requirements.
