Job summary

The Clearing House seeks a Director of RTP Business Product Management in Charlotte to translate strategy into focused product plans and market opportunities. You will own RTP use cases, lead discovery, build business cases, and drive launches in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Compliance.

You will guide cross‑functional teams through pilots, launch readiness, and commercialization while applying a strong risk mindset and using data to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive product management experience in payments/fintech.
• Strong understanding of payment products, operations, technology, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct customer and market discovery, identify and validate needs, build business cases, prioritize work, and translate strategy into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure performance.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate the RTP strategy into focused product plans and roadmaps grounded in validated customer and market needs.
• Own assigned opportunities through the product lifecycle, including discovery, business case development, requirements, prioritization, pilot, and launch.
• Lead market discovery and customer engagement with financial institutions, corporate users, technology providers, fintechs, and other stakeholders to identify unmet needs and shape solutions.
• Develop clear product positioning, value propositions, launch approaches, and enablement for assigned use cases and verticals with cross‑functional partners.
• Use market, customer, product, volume, financial, and adoption data to recommend priorities and actions that improve business outcomes.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to identify and address product and market risks and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives, pilots, proofs of concept, and launch readiness activities with clear milestones and ownership.
• Track competitive, regulatory, technology, and industry developments and translate insights into product and commercialization recommendations.
• Contribute to a market‑driven product management culture focused on accountability and customer outcomes.
