Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Director, Risk & Audit to own the risk and audit function for large-scale infrastructure programs, with a strong emphasis on governance and compliance. The role will partner closely with project, finance, and operations stakeholders to strengthen controls, assess exposure, and support successful delivery across complex development programs.

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Risk & Audit to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This leader will own the risk and audit function supporting large-scale infrastructure development initiatives with a strong emphasis on construction governance and compliance. The role will partner closely with project, finance, and operations stakeholders to strengthen controls, assess exposure, and support successful delivery across complex development programs. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for someone who can build a team, establish disciplined risk processes, and help protect business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $192,900 – $258,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a team of risk and audit professionals
• Develop and maintain the risk management framework for infrastructure development
• Establish a comprehensive risk assessment process for data center development
• Evaluate internal and external risks affecting project delivery and compliance
• Create and implement a recurring compliance assessment process for organizational standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Cost Management, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 10 years of experience in construction project controls, risk management, governance, audit, and compliance; data center experience is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to multi-task effectively in fast-paced environments
