Job summary

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in revenue recognition or technical accounting, with 3+ in public accounting, and a CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Deep technical expertise in ASC 606 and related accounting guidance.
• Finance and external disclosure guidance experience.
• Ability to research and evaluate complex accounting rules and contract structures.
• Experience with ad or platform technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global revenue recognition and sales contract processes in ASC 606.
• Develop and maintain global revenue recognition policies and related SOX controls.
• Serve as SME and primary contact for technical revenue recognition matters with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical accounting memos to document revenue recognition positions.
• Train cross-functional teams on revenue recognition and related topics.
• Coordinate with Order Management, collections, payment, risks, and accounting teams on contracts.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audits.
• Analyze revenue trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive continuous process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Leverage AI to accelerate technical research, memo drafting and GTM initiatives.
