Job description

Provides leadership and effective oversight of Revenue Cycle Automation strategies and teams, working across the enterprise Revenue Cycle Operations Team to guide complex automation initiatives involving intelligent and traditional automation technologies. Focuses on enhancing, modernizing, and developing the Revenue Cycle Automation portfolio aligned with Mass General Brigham's strategic goals, while supporting automation work by leaders and teams. Partners with operational stakeholders to identify opportunities for process redesign and automation, supports the implementation of the Intelligent Automation strategy, and strives to improve people, processes, and technology within the function.

Essential Functions
  1. Establishes strategic direction for Revenue Cycle Automation, collaborating with leaders to drive alignment.
  2. Builds trust in automation and promotes innovative solutions through dedicated capabilities.
  3. Drives deployment of Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, Cognitive Automation, and AI across Revenue Cycle teams.
  4. Partners with Digital Intelligent Automation leaders to assess and integrate new technologies.
  5. Ensures compliance with enterprise standards, practices, and governance for automation.
  6. Monitors KPIs for Revenue Cycle Automation, aiming to maximize performance.
  7. Serves as a thought partner to operational leaders to increase automation in workflows.
  8. Evaluates evolving technologies to optimize automation outcomes.
  9. Establishes standards for opportunity evaluation, solution design, and product development.
  10. Participates as a SME at national and local levels, communicating relevant industry and healthcare trends.
  11. Mentors team resources to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field is required. Experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Experience

5-7 years in operational management and process/technology optimization; 3-5 years in leading teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Leadership experience in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong operational and process optimization skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Revenue Cycle operations and automation technologies.
  • Excellent personnel and organizational management skills, including communication and relationship management.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on high-quality delivery.
  • Deep understanding of automation design, development, and testing.
  • Experience in developing motivated technical teams.

This is a remote position with quarterly meetings in Boston.
