POSITION SUMMARY
The Director, Revenue Solutions will be responsible for solutioning for complex new business opportunities and strategic renewals, ensuring that Allied delivers tailored, high-impact approaches that align with client needs and market demands, while remaining executable within our operational infrastructure. They are also responsible for translating complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging for brokers, employers, and other key stakeholders. This includes developing messaging frameworks, talk tracks, presentation content, and thought leadership that articulate Allied’s differentiated value in a way that is both digestible and persuasive.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Act as a strategic consultant to Sales and Client Executives, supporting large, complex, or strategically significant new business and renewal opportunities by designing solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Provide solution design expertise related to product and network configuration, pricing strategies, funding models, and performance/savings guarantees, ensuring recommendations are both competitive and operationally sound.
- Serve as a key contributor to high-value RFPs, participating in strategy and kick-off meetings, resolving complex content issues in partnership with internal SMEs and external vendors, and finalizing major components such as executive summaries, strategic questionnaires, analytics deliverables, and pricing narratives.
- Support finalist meetings by developing and refining presentation content, advising on structure and messaging, and consulting with sales/retention teams on best-and-final offers (BAFOs) that align with client expectations and positioning goals.
- Ensure operational readiness by connecting Revenue Teams and Operations Teams early in the sales cycle to align on deliverability, setting realistic expectations, and mitigating risk before go-live.
- Lead the creation and rollout of revenue enablement materials, including playbooks, battle cards, proposal tools, and FAQs, in close collaboration with Revenue Leadership to ensure consistency, field adoption, and measurable impact.
- Organize and maintain a centralized enablement library, ensuring all tools are up-to-date, easy to access, and leveraged effectively across sales and renewal teams.
- Explore and champion continuous process improvement across the Revenue Organization:
- Creating an internal idea system to encourage innovation and improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.
- Connecting process improvement initiatives to key metrics such as turn-around times, win rates, and profitability.
- Supporting a scalable culture of revenue excellence.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- At least 7 years of years of experience in the self-funded healthcare space, preferably with a TPA with a focus on sales strategy and/or solution development.
- At least 5 years at a Manager level role required.
- Strong understanding of provider networks, PBMs, stop loss, and care/medical management programs.
- Experience supporting finalist meetings and complex sales processes.
- Ability to translate technical and operational concepts into clear, persuasive messaging.
- Must be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive approach.
- Experience with sales enablement strategy and tool creation.
- Self-starter mentality and comfort working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Must be proficient in using essential software applications like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Dynamics).
- Must possess the ability to build and maintain strong relationships, demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in team settings, works effectively with others across different levels and functions, and actively seeks and utilizes feedback.
