Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Director of Portfolio and Retail M&A to drive investment and portfolio strategies for the BSRO network. You will lead acquisitions and complex real estate transactions, from initial evaluation to store conversion and integration, with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Legal, Operations and IT.

The role requires a decade of experience in retail real estate or M&A, strong financial modeling skills, and expert negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in retail real estate, corporate development, M&A, or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, law or a related field.
• Strong financial and investment acumen with valuation, modeling and return metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment and portfolio strategies aligned with BSRO’s long-term network growth and enterprise objectives.
• Lead acquisitions and portfolio real estate transactions, including multi-site opportunities, from evaluation through closing and integration.
• Lead the financial evaluation and underwriting of opportunities, including valuation, capital needs and investment recommendations.
• Diligence, regulatory approvals, leases and other transaction documents for complex deals.
• Negotiate complex transaction structures with multiple locations and counterparties.
• Provide strategic recommendations on capital allocation and portfolio optimization.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, Construction, IT and Marketing.
• Oversee post-acquisition conversion and integration planning to efficiently assimilate locations.
