Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Director of Portfolio and Retail M&A to shape BSRO’s growth through strategic acquisitions and portfolio real estate opportunities.

You will lead multi-site transactions from initial evaluation to closing and integration, coordinating across Operations, Finance, Legal, Construction, IT, and Marketing. The role requires strong financial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and expert negotiation skills to deliver long-term value and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, law or related field.
• 10+ years in retail real estate, corporate development, M&A, or related fields.
• Experience evaluating and executing complex real estate or M&A transactions.
• Strong financial and investment acumen with valuation and modeling.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from evaluation to execution.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of leases and asset purchase agreements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and real estate platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment and portfolio strategies for BSRO's network growth.
• Lead acquisition and portfolio real estate transactions from evaluation to closing.
• Direct financial evaluation, underwriting, valuation, and return analysis.
• Manage diligence, approvals, and complex documentation.
• Structure multi-site deals and negotiate purchase/lease agreements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across internal stakeholders.
• Oversee post-acquisition real estate conversion and integration.
• Develop governance and reporting for portfolio/M&A activity.
• Build strategic relationships with REITs, property owners, developers, brokers.
