Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of related experience in a research compliance environment.
• Knowledge of federal rules and regulations for human subject protections, animal care, biosafety, and related areas.
• Experience in data privacy, research security, export controls and responsible conduct of research.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee research and compliance operations for the University.
• Oversee HRPP, IRB, IACUC, biosafety, and research integrity programs.
• Develop data privacy and research security requirements for university research.
• Manage and audit IRB/IACUC processes and related reporting.
• Coordinate with external regulatory agencies on human and animal research issues.
• Provide guidance on export control compliance and research misconduct inquiries.
