Monmouth University is seeking a knowledgeable, respected leader to join our team as Director of Research Compliance. The successful candidate will provide direction and oversight for HRPP, IRB, IACUC, biosafety, research misconduct, conflicts of interest, data privacy, export controls and related compliance programs.

This is an in-person, on-campus role. The Director supervises the IRB/IACUC Coordinator, serves as Research Integrity Officer, and collaborates with Institutional leadership to

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years of related experience in a research compliance environment.
• Knowledge of federal rules and regulations for human subjects and biosafety.
• Experience overseeing IRB and IACUC processes and committees.
• Familiarity with data privacy, export controls, and research integrity practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee research and compliance operations (IRB, IACUC, biosafety, COI, data privacy).
• Develop and implement an internal quality improvement program.
• Oversee and audit HRPP-related activities and reports.
• Interact with federal and state agencies on human/animal research issues.
• Supervise IRB/IACUC staff and coordinate training for researchers.
