Job summary

Monmouth University seeks a knowledgeable leader to direct Research Compliance on the West Long Branch campus. The Director will oversee HRPP, IRB, IACUC, biosafety, conflict of interest management, data privacy and security, export controls, and research integrity.

The role requires independent leadership and coordination with Institutional leadership. This in-person, on-campus position reports to senior leadership and will supervise the IRB/IACUC Coordinator while serving as Research Integrity

Qualifications

• Master's degree and 5+ years of related experience in research compliance in higher education.
• Knowledge of federal rules and regulations for human subject protections, animal care, biosafety.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee research and compliance operations.
• Oversee HRPP, IRB and IACUC programs and audits.
• Develop and implement privacy, data security and export control programs.
• Provide guidance to researchers and liaise with regulatory agencies.
