Job summary

The Wellman Center for Photomedicine, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks an Administrative Director to set administrative direction and coordinate research, reporting to Center leadership. You will collaborate with PIs, faculty, and staff to advance research priorities and ensure compliant financial and program management.

Responsibilities include leading a team, managing budgets and grants, and implementing policies to optimize operations across the Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of directly related management experience in research settings.
• Experience in an academic environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of research administration and grant management.
• Develop and implement program activities to support the Center's research mission.
• Lead administrative staff and ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Monitor funding portfolio and prepare fiscal projection reports.
• Ensure timely submission and review of budgets and performance evaluations.
