PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, seeks a Director of Financing to lead all financing activities for distributed energy projects including solar, storage, and EVSE. The role collaborates with legal, development, sales, engineering, and construction teams to ensure bankability and optimal terms.

The position is hybrid and based in CA or NY, with a target by 10/31/26. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in business/finance (MBA/CFA/JD a plus) and 6+ years in finance, including renewable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or economics; MBA/CFA/JD a plus.
• 6+ years in finance roles, with at least 3 years in solar or renewable energy financing.
• Deep understanding of project finance, including tax equity structures.
• Strong ability to markup and gather comments on financing documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transaction execution from due diligence to closing.
• Monitor project pipeline to identify financing needs.
• Negotiate financing contracts with investors and counterparties.
• Develop and maintain investor relationships and bankability standards.
