Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking a Control Board Operator in Independence, OH to manage day‑to‑day remote operation of air separation and gas production lines from a central site.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize processes, coordinating with engineers and field technicians to ensure safe, reliable operations. The role requires a high school diploma with 5+ years of control board experience, plus training in DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC interfaces.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 5+ years operating a control board in an industrial plant.
Two-year technical college or military technical experience preferred.
Experience with DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC interfaces and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Remote monitors and controls production facilities using DCS/SCADA/HMI/PLC systems.
Execute recommended operating modes to optimize production and efficiency.
Manage short‑term supply and coordinate with logistics to meet customer needs.
Safely implement emergency protocols and escalate issues to ensure supply continuity.
