Xcel Energy seeks a Director, Regulatory and Strategic Analysis to shape regulatory operations and lead rate-case strategies in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. You will advise executives, manage a project team, and drive policy aligned with safe, reliable, affordable service.

Lead strategic regulatory initiatives, collaborate with regulators, stakeholders, and internal experts, and ensure cost-recovery mechanisms maximize returns while supporting sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a field related to energy, policy, or engineering.
• Minimum 10 years in the energy industry with 3–5 years in regulatory roles.
• Strong knowledge of utility regulatory processes and rate cases.

Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory and legislative impacts and advise executives.
• Lead policy positions and prepare comments/testimony for regulatory bodies.
• Direct preparation of regulatory documents and manage policy initiatives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across jurisdictions.
