Job summary

KOHO is seeking a seasoned Director, Regulatory Compliance Management, Advisory and Privacy Office to lead the advisory core of KOHO’s Compliance function and own the Privacy Office end to end. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, you’ll translate complex regulations into practical guidance for product, marketing, and partnerships while maturing the enterprise privacy program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compliance, privacy, or regulatory legal experience in financial services.
• Strong advisory capabilities to business partners and leadership.
• Experience building or maturing a privacy program and governance framework.
• Proven people leadership and clear written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advisory guidance to product, marketing, technology, payments, and partnerships.
• Own regulatory interpretation, risk-based positions, and audit-ready documentation.
• Lead marketing disclosures, customer communications, and product development integration.
• Oversee whistleblower, ethics programs, and board reporting.
• Manage enterprise privacy program, privacy impact assessments, and breach response.
• Lead privacy complaints, data inventory, notices, training, and awareness.
• Build and coach a high-performing compliance and privacy team.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, and Tech/Cyber for integrated coverage.
• Represent KOHO externally with regulators and industry groups, monitor trends.
• Apply AI and analytics to advisory intake and privacy assessments.
