Job summary

KidStrong Central Florida is seeking a Regional Manager to oversee 3–5 centers in Orlando/Tampa Bay, reporting to the Area Developer. This in-person, field-first role requires weekend presence and leadership of multiple General Managers to drive growth, safety, and family experience.

You will lead operations, sales, and people, maintaining brand standards, KPIs, and budgets while driving staff development and regional initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership position with real career growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of multi-unit management experience.
• Experience leading location managers with measurable results.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L and KPIs.
• Experience with CRM, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
• Athletic/coaching background and passion for kids.
• Excellent communication; availability outside center hours.
• Willing to travel across Central Florida and Tampa Bay; field-first with weekend presence.

Responsibilities

• Hold GMs accountable for lead management, CRM hygiene, trial conversion, and retention.
• Directly lead, develop, and evaluate GMs; recruit, hire, onboard, offboard.
• Complete KidStrong coach certification and cover classes, parties, and camps when staffing needs arise.
• Uphold core values, safety protocols, and brand standards region-wide.

Regional Manager – KidStrong Central Florida

Region: Orlando / Central Florida & Tampa Bay Reports To: Area Developer Direct Reports: 3-5 General Managers Full-Time | In-Person | Field-First (min. 3 days/week in-center) | Weekend availability required

Compensation

• Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience
• Performance Bonus (tiered, highly attainable): +$10K / +$20K / +$30K per year
• Total Comp Potential: $70,000-$110,000+

What You'll Own

• Operations: Own the operational health of 3–5 centers including brand standards, KPIs, cleanliness, safety, and the family experience. Analyze P&Ls, labor schedules, and budgets, and act on variances. Serve as the escalation point for maintenance, safety, staffing, and member issues.
• Sales & Growth: Hold GMs accountable for lead management, CRM hygiene, trial conversion, and retention. Coach on local marketing, events, camps, and party programs. Build action plans for growth.
• People: Directly lead, develop, and evaluate your GMs as their primary coach and performance manager. Recruit, hire, onboard, and offboard. Run 1:1s, reviews, and center visits.
• Coaching: Complete KidStrong coach certification and be ready to step in to cover classes, parties, and camps when staffing needs arise. This is an active, hands-on role!
• Culture: Be a visible invested leader across every center. Uphold our core values, safety protocols, and brand standards region-wide.

Who We're Looking For

• 3–5+ years of multi-unit management, ideally in fitness, youth programming, retail, or a service-based franchise
• Proven ability to lead and develop location-level managers as direct reports, with measurable results
• Strong financial acumen: comfortable reading P&Ls and interpreting KPIs
• Experience with CRM platforms, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace
• An athletic / coaching background and a genuine passion for working with kids (ages walking to 11)
• Exceptional communication; responsive via Slack and email including outside center hours
• Able to travel regularly across Central Florida and Tampa Bay; field-first, with weekend presence required
• Able to remain on your feet across locations and lift up to 50 lbs
• CPR, First Aid, and EpiPen certifications required (can be obtained post-hire)
