Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Director for the Regional Burn Center in the West Hills area. The role directs fiscal, HR, clinical and communications operations for inpatient nursing units and the outpatient clinic, aligning with ANA standards and UCLA’s practice model.

Ideal candidate holds MSN or a BSN with a Master’s degree, plus 3 years of Burn leadership and 5 years of acute care RN experience, with required BLS/ACLS/PALS and ABLS/CBRN credentials.

Qualifications

• MSN or BSN with a Master’s degree required.
• 3 years of management/leadership experience in Burn units required.
• 5 years of acute care RN experience required.
• BLS from ARC/ACLS and PALS from ARC/ACLS required.
• ABLS and CBRN required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fiscal, human resources, clinical and communications operations of inpatient nursing units and outpatient clinic.
• Develop and evaluate patient and staff collection systems to support nursing practice and patient care.
• Use data collection to measure unit performance and conduct CICARE rounds; assess staff performance.
