Qualifications

Gamida Cell is a leader in advanced cellular therapies and hematopoietic stem cell transplants, with two FDA approved therapies, Omisirge ® (omidubicel-onlv) and APHEXDA ® (motixafortide). Omisirge® is the first and only FDA approved cell therapy for allogeneic stem cell transplant. APHEXDA® is a stem cell mobilization agent indicated for autologous transplantation for patients with multiple myeloma.

General Scope and Summary

The Director, Regional Accounts is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading and coordinating Gamida Cell’s products and services across a defined set of high-priority academic transplant centers and key accounts. This role serves as the primary strategic interface between the company and key stakeholders within transplant centers, ensuring a coordinated, high-impact approach to drive adoption of Omisirge® and APHEXDA®.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Promote products through clinically credible and value-driven messaging
  • Build trusted relationships with transplant physicians and key stakeholders
  • Ensure coordination of cross-functional activities within each account
  • Monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve business objectives

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead engagement and coordination across major academic transplant centers and key accounts to optimize the adoption and integration of Omisirge® and APHEXDA®
  • Promote Gamida Cell products by delivering clinically credible, value-based messaging to transplant physicians, program directors, pharmacists, administrators, and other key stakeholders
  • Establish trusted relationships within transplant centers by demonstrating deep expertise in hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation, and cell therapy
  • Develop short and long-term strategic account plans for each key account, incorporating insights from cross-functional partners (Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Operations, etc.)
  • Drive execution of account-specific business plans, including identification and implementation of tailored tactics to increase utilization and improve patient access
  • Ensure consistent coordination and alignment of all cross-functional activities within each account, proactively identifying gaps and adjusting plans to optimize outcomes
  • Act as the central point of accountability for account performance, monitoring progress against defined objectives and KPIs
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs to facilitate scientific exchange and support for clinical adoption within the compliance guidelines and as appropriate
  • Collaborate with Market Access and payer teams to address reimbursement, coverage, and access barriers within key accounts
  • Provide insights on market dynamics, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform broader commercial strategy
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines
  • Serve as a key contributor to the broader commercial organization by sharing best practices, account insights, and strategic recommendations

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • 8–12+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, with significant focus in hematology/oncology and transplant
  • Demonstrated experience working with academic medical centers and transplant programs required
  • Prior account management or key account leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Previous sales management experience in Hematology/Oncology highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of stem cell transplantation, cell therapy, and/or gene therapy landscape required
  • BA/BS required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred
  • Established relationships within the transplant center ecosystem (physicians, program leadership, and key stakeholders) strongly preferred
  • Deep clinical knowledge in hematology, transplant, and/or cell therapy with the ability to engage credibly with expert clinicians
  • Strong business acumen, including the ability to develop and execute strategic account plans with measurable outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed cross-functional environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable tactics and deliver measurable results
  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess account performance and adjust strategy dynamically
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a complex, evolving environment
  • Demonstrated flexibility, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Travel: 50-70%

Base Salary Range: Gamida Cell considers a range of factors when determining base compensation and therefore the final compensation will vary depending on experience level.
