Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Director of Product Science to ensure scientific credibility and rigor for Life Sciences real-world evidence and data-discovery agents. You will lead cross-functional teams, define scientific problem statements, and oversee evaluation design, SME reviews, and quality controls for agent systems across product zones.

The role encompasses client delivery leadership, scientific governance, and contributing to thought leadership through blogs, webinars, and conferences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master’s in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field.
• Experience with real-world evidence (RWE) or pharmacoepidemiology preferred.
• Strong scientific writing and ability to convey complex results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scientific credibility and rigor of RWE and data discovery agents.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across product zones and pods.
• Be the SME for non-agentic scientific workflows relevant to agent systems.
• Oversee scientific submissions for product/roadmap governance with eval sets and metrics.
• Deliver science leadership for partner projects and customer engagements.
