Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Director of Product Science to ensure the scientific credibility and rigor of its Life Sciences real-world evidence and data discovery agents. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams and align agent concepts with the needs of scientific customers while upholding Datavant’s science standards.

The role includes directing scientific submissions for governance, designing eval sets and metrics, and serving as the SME for non-agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or master’s degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or a related field.
• Strong command of observational study design, healthcare data, and analytic methods.
• Ability to drive progress across cross-functional product teams and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure scientific credibility and rigor of Datavant Life Sciences’ real-world evidence and data discovery agents.
• Lead across product zones and pods on agent conceptualization, problem statements, task bounds, and evaluation design.
• Serve as science lead for customer delivery of co-build/co-development/co-design scientific partnerships with pharma and data ecosystem customers.
• Contribute to scientific thought leadership and support GTM with market signals.
