Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Director, Real World Evidence to lead the development and execution of RWE studies across the assigned therapeutic area. You will act as principal investigator on real world evidence studies and serve as scientific leader with internal and external stakeholders.

You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with epidemiology, data science, and regulatory teams to deliver portfolio‑aligned solutions, including publication and conference dissemination.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years leading RWE development.
• 8–10+ years in stakeholder engagement roles.
• Experience with RWE methodologies and advanced analytics.
• Demonstrated research accomplishments (peer‑reviewed publications, conference presentations).
• Leadership, communication, critical thinking; strong knowledge of real‑world databases.
• Excellent process/project management; ability to manage large project volumes with triage/judgment.
• 8+ years researching using real-world data for clinical and business decision‑making.
• Strong business acumen; team player; strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages execution of all assigned RWE within the therapeutic area (internal, partners, vendors).
• Acts as scientific leader and liaison with CMR, Market Access and Public Affairs, and global counterparts.
• Leads the study team; communicates RWE project execution to stakeholders; manages partnerships and vendors.
• Acts as lead researcher and collaborates with external experts and internal functions to execute studies.
