Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a senior leader to head a cross-functional Evidence Generation matrix team and develop an Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP). You will drive data gap analyses and align ESR/NRDG activities with R&D, Medical Affairs, and Market Access partners.

You will oversee NRDG trials, externally sponsored research, and collaborative studies, ensuring budgets, governance, and timelines are met while advancing real-world evidence across oncology programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical/science degree required (MD/PhD/PharmD).
• Minimum 5 years pharma or external expert partnership experience.
• Oncology experience; melanoma preferred.
• Experience developing medical data generation strategy and IEPs.
• Experience with interventional/non-interventional studies (Ph 3b/4, ESRs, observational).
• Strong matrix leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional Evidence Generation matrix team and develop an Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP).
• Lead data gap analysis and IEP development with R&D, Global Product Teams, Medical Affairs leads, and stakeholders; provide thought leadership on evidence gaps and priorities.
• Execute NRDG: sponsored NRDG trials, ESRs, collaborative research, and real-world evidence.
• Manage data gaps, AOIs, and RFPs; ensure governance approvals, contracting, and budgeting.
• Ensure ESR milestones/timelines via engagement with sites, investigators, and networks.
• Align IEPs across portfolio (late-stage through commercial, incl. lifecycle).
• Identify ESR areas with HEOR/Translational Research; develop real-world data and publication plans.
• Lead registry data generation (Pulse OMNI and global collaborations) and collaborate on RWE/HEOR opportunities.
• Oversee clinical ESR execution and investigator mitigation; monitor non-clinical execution via TM team.
• Accountable for ESR/registry budget; maintain SOPs/policies/work instructions.
• NRDG Sponsored Trials Capability: build capability for sponsored trials; design and oversight; SOPs.
• External Collaborations: build partnerships with cooperative groups; support business development.
