Job summary

Genmab is seeking a Director of Real-World Data & Epidemiology Analytics to lead the design, execution, and communication of observational studies across diverse RWD sources. You will guide analytics, drive AI-driven methods, and inform clinical development and health-policy decisions.

You will mentor scientists, partner with CORE asset leaders, and advance standardized governance for study execution while navigating a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• PhD or Masters in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in real-world evidence generation and epidemiology analytics.
• Expertise in observational study design, statistical methods (survival analysis, regression, IPTW, MAIC, causal inference) and RWD evaluation.
• Hands-on proficiency in SAS, R, Python on real-world data and AI/ML frameworks.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Oncology experience preferred.
• Strong commercial and clinical strategic mindset.
• Peer-reviewed publications demonstrating research accomplishments.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and independently.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Hybrid work arrangement up to 40% remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CORE asset leaders to design, execute, and report on observational studies.
• Match study objectives with optimal RWD sources (claims, EHR, registries, patient data).
• Conduct survival and economic modeling to support HTA activities.
• Manage analysis plan, programming, statistical methods and QC per standards.
• Present designs, interim analyses, and results to diverse audiences.
• Evaluate new data modalities for study applicability and integration.
• Lead pilots and scale AI applications in RWD analytics.
• Define evidence needs and realistic timelines with asset leaders.
• Mentor RWD scientists and programmers to grow technical skills.
• Define governance for study execution and data management.
• Collaborate with DD&AI to streamline pipelines and ensure reproducibility.
• Contribute to CORE strategy and initiatives.
