Job summary

Freenome seeks a Senior Director of Real World Data to define and lead the RWD strategy, platform, and data pipeline, transforming diverse real-world datasets into regulatory-grade, research-ready assets for regulatory submissions, clinical development, and digital health products.

The Senior Director will guide the RWD Informatics team turning EHR, claims, imaging, and other RWD into research-ready datasets while ensuring data quality, efficiency, and scalability. Remote role in the US.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• At least 12 years in clinical informatics with EHR/claims/RWD and molecular data.
• 10+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams in a matrixed organization.
• Experience with data modeling, data curation, and NLP in health data contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and continuous improvement of the RWD curation pipeline and AI-enabled workflows.
• Develop a multi-year strategy for RWD acquisition, management, and use for regulatory submissions and HEOR.
• Architect and maintain a scalable RWD platform handling EHRs, claims, imaging, and registries.
• Directly lead clinical informaticists and data analysts to deliver on product and regulatory goals.
