The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. seeks a Director of Research & Development Operations to drive execution of large federal, contract-funded programs under the RDO Portfolio.

You will align PM processes, manage budgets, and liaise with government stakeholders to ensure schedule, cost, and performance objectives. This role requires extensive federal contract experience, leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, and a strategic focus on growing RDO

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a scientific, management, or related field required.
• Doctoral Degree in a scientific discipline preferred.
• Extensive experience capturing and managing large federal contracts and budgets.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex federal contract-funded programs ensuring scope, schedule, and milestones.
• Ensure FAR compliance and adherence to contractual terms and policies.
• Manage program performance: scope, schedule, deliverables, resources, budgets, quality, risks, outcomes.
• Oversee financial performance and proactively manage risks.
• Serve as interface with KOs and CORs and liaise with stakeholders.
• Supervise and guide Project Managers and technical staff across lifecycle.
• Develop training and mentoring sessions for Program Managers within RDO/Enterprise awarded contracts.
• Identify interdependencies and align resources across teams and portfolios.
• Build relationships to strengthen performance, engagement, and growth.
