Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital–Plymouth is seeking an RN Quality Improvement Coordinator to lead performance improvement initiatives, analyze data, and support clinical teams in achieving excellence in quality and safety. This role applies Lean/Six Sigma and PDSA methodologies to hospital-wide performance metrics.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and coding staff, develop dashboards, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including TJC and CMS.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MA RN license
• MS in healthcare-related field required
• At least 2 years in quality improvement
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in clinical/hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, RCA, FMEA
• Familiarity with TJC, CMS, MassHealth standards
• Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• EPIC experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes
• Serve as SME on publicly reported data (IQR, OQR, IPFQR, MassHealth, TJC)
• Support data abstraction and reporting for Core Measures and registries
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and PDSA to drive efficiency and outcomes
• Collaborate with clinicians and coding teams to optimize documentation and metrics
• Translate quality data into reports, dashboards, and leadership materials
• Participate in quality committees and benchmark against standards
• Develop indicators and track performance to meet quality goals
• Support Continuous Quality Improvement Plan and regulatory compliance
• Foster collaborative, team-based improvement culture
• Facilitate service-line Quality Committees and Mortality conferences
