Job summary

Revlon seeks a Director of Quality Control to lead QC laboratory operations at the Oxford, NC site, ensuring timely, accurate testing and release of materials and finished goods for FDA-regulated cosmetics and OTC products.

The role requires 15+ years in QC within FDA-regulated settings, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of cGMP, data integrity, and laboratory systems. Onsite, with collaboration across QA, Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive Quality Control, laboratory, analytical, or manufacturing quality experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing (OTC, cosmetics, personal care or pharma).
• Leadership experience in QC laboratory operations, including analytical chemistry and/or microbiology.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA expectations, laboratory investigations, data integrity, analytical method validation, stability, and laboratory equipment systems.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections, customer audits, and internal audits.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, improve performance, and build technical capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QC laboratory operations across chemical, physical, analytical, microbiological, raw material, bulk, packaging, stability, and finished goods testing.
• Ensure testing, documentation, review, and release activities comply with FDA, cGMP, internal, and customer requirements.
• Establish priorities, staffing, workflows, and schedules to support manufacturing operations.
• Maintain inspection-ready laboratory practices, equipment, documentation, and records.
• Manage the budget and CAPEX for the QC department.
• Oversee analytical method qualification, validation, verification, transfer, and lifecycle management.
• Provide technical direction for OOS, OOT, deviations, and investigations.
• Partner with R&D, QA, Regulatory, and Manufacturing on new product launches and tech transfers.
